For I don't do anything except go around persuading you all, old and young, not to take thought for your social standing or your properties, but first and chiefly to care about the great improvements of the soul. I tell you that virtue is not given by money, but that from virtue comes money and every other good, public and private. - Socrates

HDTV Overscan
I noticed that while playing content on my HTPC running Windows 7 Media Center it didn't fully fill my Sharp AQUOS HDTV. After doing some research on the Internet it turns out that overscan is common with HDTV To rectify the problem involved disabling overscan for AMD graphics cards and setting the TV aspect ratio to dot-by-dot. The later is important because scaling should be disabled so that the TV renders the digital signal as presented by the HTPC.
